Question Water proofing Army tent

Any products a guy can pick up at a canadian tire or hard ware store that work?

Can you spray it on?

We used stuff that u can buy at sportchek or foot locker a couple years back.
Set up tent, sprayed it down and didn't see a drop of rain for 8 days.
Frost and dew at night but it didn't leak.

The spray is the type you spray on shoes/runners to keep water from penetrating the leather. Pretty pricy though!

The product u mentioned, I have not used before

Some wall tent companies recommend Canvak tent sealer. If you google it I think Cabelas sells it.

It isn't meant for canvas.

I use paraffin based products on canvas.

Crappy Tire sells that to.

My uncle use to spray his canvas tents with Thompson's Water Seal. Took a few days for them to air out after sprayed.

I found it, I picked up the canvas repellant , it actually comes in a 1 gallon can for $44 at canadian tire
There is 2 different kinds , the other is for more of the nylon tents
I'll see how this works
