Default Saw a Booner whitetail today weird!

I was driving along today and to my surprize I see a huge whitetail in hard antler. He was with another buck that had about 6 inches of new velvet clad antler which is the norm for late May. This guy would have definatly grossed over 170 as a 5x5. I wonder what was up with this buck? Very strange sight this time of year. Any of you guys ever seen a big buck in hard antler this late? I'm going back to try and get a pic of him.

Blame climate change, or the Liberals.

Yes it is the nose hill buck, I didn't realize he is so popular. He's big but there's a dark antlerd buck there thats got a crazy massive rack ,drop tines and sticker points that makes the 5x5 look average.

Seen a large WT right behind the house in late may or early june of 1996 with both antlers once.

Him and a doe were eating spilled oats out of a old wooden granary on the edge of a hayfield he had to cross to get back to the poplar bluff that always holds deer.

The previous winter was mild and that field only had one access at the time and was sort of "hidden" from the main roads.

I imagine it probably had something to do with a "stress free" well fed life for the most part.
