Default Contender for the Toughest Buck Award.....

This deer had some very uncomfortable days until he was harvested by this hunter. It is obvious that there was a fight during the rut and this deer ended up with an extra antler (embedded below the eye). You can see that the antler from the attacking deer was broke off below the base of the antler as there is still blood on the pedicel. That takes a tremendous amount of pressure. Pretty amazing. http://www.rivermenrodandgunclub.com...-pictures.html

I think that I have the antlers from the other deer that lost the antler....lol! Mine has the antlers broken off, not ripped out by the roots though. I kept them so I'll see if I can find them and post a picture.

I heard the same thing about it being a 3'rd antler growing from the eye.

It is a third antler growing from below the eye. There are pics somewhere of the skull skinned out and you can clearly see the base of the antler and growth that was present beneath the skin not visible in those pics. I will try to find them and post them.

Where'd he shoot that deer? Near the Swan Hills toxic waste dump or on Half Mile Island?

Image 9 in the series should be titled "Ram destroys Chevy"
