Not to mention your birth cert doesn't have a photo and it is a piece of valid government issued id.

I have the AB health card now, and I wish it was plastic (like the old red and white Ontario cards).

True story: I was forced to have my Ontario card replaced with one that had a photo 1 month before I moved to AB. They didn't care that I was moving
