Default Carbon tax details passed today

http://www.qp.alberta.ca/documents/o.../2016_293.html

They are going to have to hire an awful lot of inspectors to enforce all the rules. Lots of exemptions for some classes of people, like farmers and First Nations. More accounting nightmares for refunds like bad debt or contaminated fuel, and a bureaucratic jungle to claim it back.

Outstanding! They can hire another thousand or so public service bean counters to administer that mess. Should work as slick as a gun registry, and accomplish just as much, and for about the same cost. Tax them on the carbon, and tax them on something else to pay for the carbon tax bean counters.

Jesus wept.

Default Just another nail in the coffin......

Of the wacked out nutbar ND-freaking P.

Nutley actually thinks the NDP was elected by Albertans......it was a protest vote gone wrong.

Last week she shows up in Fort Mac and derides the reconstruction and 8 months ago her government cut the budget to preventative measures for fire fighting. If she did not have a security detail she would have been tarred and feathered FFS.

Climate change is a sham and it is being foisted upon western society as a feel good save the earth BS propaganda move by socialists who all live by the mantra of "do as I say not as I do".

Cripes I so wish I had followed my gut instinct in 2008...had I done so I would own a nice 8 acre freehold tropical island with lots of money to spare and if any socialist showed up and tried to tell me what was best for me I could shoot him and feed him to the crabs.

Default Holy mackerel !

jam packed with NDP socialist legalese

will def'n require a full ministry to run 'fer sure.

more work for lawyers - more work for accts - clerks - managers - supervisor - executive supervisors - managing associates - managing directors - senior managers - and on and on ...

hope it doesn't end up like a lot of these schemes eventually go - 50 cents to collect a dollar or worse losing 1/2 in the pockets of corrupt officials.

Here is the link for the Edmonton one. The links seem to be disappearing from the net.

Try explaining that to liberal! I wasn't old to know any better at the time, nor I was barely around, but I learnt from Google and word of mouth, times were not good. God help us all, if he gets voted in twice like his dad

Yup ... hire the people that used to drive the truck's before automation ... the only downfall is the taxpayer paying for a job payed by the taxpayer with money that come's from the tax payer that used to be a tax payer but know is only being payed by the tax payer ... and the only solution is to find a new tax to pay for the b.s implemented by the tax payer's that want every thing for free because they pay taxes !!!

( Disclaimer) ... DO NOT ... try to make sence of my drivel ... Just like the NDP ... I'm only here for a short time !!!

and why is that.companies are not going to just eat the extra costs.
Lot of companies are hurting already . If fuel goes do think trucking companies just say heyou no problem they always pass the price on.let's say we use 200000litres
A month now add 3 more cents tax per liter on to that fuel.then times that by 12 months .
I guess we could park some trucks and layoff people instead . So companies running a fine linexample in this economy will close .

Why? If an oil company is making a 4% profit and this will cost them 5%. Does you comment make sense?

If the price of the raw goods goes up the overall price of the consumer goods goes up. In turn consumers pay more or companies go out of business.

Another example is coffee beans. Starbucks raises there price as bean costs rise. Not fair according to you?

Are you for real, there will be some small businesses that go under because of the carbon tax. Why do you think there are other countries that abolished the carbon B.S.

I think everyone should apply for the rebates , licence and farm certificates etc... Lets tie their hands up with paper work even if we know we don't qualify.
