The smaller oones are just a throw in on a multiple day trip. Lings are 3 a day.

I'm sure you could have got this info from the outfit you booked with for this summer
We will see when the seasons over if that reduction was actually needed given we received more actual poundage this year and irec's impact. My guess is wasn't needed at all. But time will tell.

You may be right. I wasn't happy with the formula put on us regarding the mortality rate which squeezed us. The 15% allocation is the main culprit, unless that is changed we will be handcuffed.

I'd love to see some commercial licence buyback and then transfer it to the sport percentage. I'd gladly pay a licence surcharge to get it done but many would just as soon keep complaining instead of fixing it.

That's what I keep pushing for...only makes too much sense though.

Great day today.

Limit of 8 Chinooks in 2 hours.

Released a too big Halibut and landed 4 Halibuts 30 - 65 lbs

Man I miss the fishing opportunities the island has to offer.
Great thread.
Salmon aren't bitting, bang the bottom or if you tired of the salt water or too ruff find a nice island lake and catch trout...tuff life!

The trout fishing isn't that great in our area but you can't have everything.

For the last week we have been experiencing the best Chinook fishing in a few years.

Limiting out on Chinooks in a few hours in the morning allows us to spoend the rest of the day bottomfishing
