Help from fellow AO'ers

Well I shattered the top end of my tibia last night.Ya fun.It looked like those sports pics you see on the interweb all the time,bottom part of leg was bent 90* the wrong direction and twisted about the same the opposite direction.Had a hell of a time getting it bent the right direction and popped back into place all while laying on my back inside of a tunnel slide in one of the kiddy fun houses at Kdays!!!So to help keep me occupied for the next while I need you guys to post as many pics of hunting porn,and the old farmsteads,and plane crashes etc as you guys can muster up and post.Thanx in advance people.

Thanx fellas!It was one of them slides that is a enclosed tube,With Teflon looking slide bottom,and I went way to fast.I am pretty sure that the speed I was going the rubber sole of my shoe stuck and I tried going underneath myself.The misses said I went from about 60 to zero in 2'.I knew something happens and when I opened my eyes I knew it was bad,and that no one would be able to help me so I had to untie my pretzels legs myself.This is my new number one on the agony list of things to not do again!

I'm sorry I'm done laughing now. That sucks. I suggest when you get fixed up you might want to stay off the big kid rides if that's what the kiddie rides are going to do to you.

Well almost a week after surgery.I was the highlight of the u of a emerg. And orthodo recovery.EVERYONE asked how I did so much damage and as soon as my mouth opened they all replyed "OH that was you!!!!Ya real funny.CT guy was real helpful too "OH man I'm no doctor but you sure did mess yourself up bad.Good luck with that man"Jeez Thanx.
Anyway surgeons were real happy with the outcome.I now have 4 plates and a bunch of screws hopefully holding my knee together.Just 11 more weeks and I MIGHT be able to start a long and arduous round of rehab.Resident surgeon said maybe 8-12 months before I can return to full work duty.

Maybe career change in order??
Any way that's where she lies now.

Seriously, SRP, you've GOT to find a way to incorporate a Grizzly into that story...like, he somehow got into the playground, and was threatening the kids; and you took him on, but he took a swipe at your leg before he ran away in fear? Just a thought.

That timeline sounds more painful than the actual injury
