Sale at Wholesale Sports

I was checking my stock, and I was thinking that I don't have enough 20 gauge target loads to make it through the sporting clays season, so I was looking online, and saw that Wholesale Sports has a sale starting today that offers a $75 discount on orders of $500 or more. The sale is online only, so I entered the chat to ask about the cost of shipping ammunition, and the person even provided a promo code to cover the cost of shipping. Overall that worked out to a $95 discount on six flats of shotshells, and I don't have to drive to the city to get my shotshells. Given that the cost of target loads has gone up significantly recently, it was nice to come across this deal from WSS.

I thought that ammo went by secure carrier and surprised they gave you promo. $95.00 of six flats is significant. It is worth the drive for me.

The sale is online only, and you can't pick it up at the store. That is why I contacted WSS, and that is when I was given the promo code to cover shipping. I am almost tempted to place a duplicate order, because I don't see the price going down anytime soon. I may also start reloading 20 gauge as well as 28 gauge.

I just got their notice and it on line only.
The problem I see is that ammo is supposed to go secure carrier and I am surprised that they are shipping.
The usual response is sorry we will not ship.

I just received notice that my order has been shipped, It can't be shipped Canada Post, but there are legal options And I have purchased powder from WSS and they did ship it out to me..

Other carriers can deliver ammo. CP doesn't require TDG training for the drivers. I think Purolator and Canpar ship ammo

I guess things have changed. WSS used to say that ammo was required to go secure carrier and because the extra cost they would not ship. Maybe because it is an on line sale, they will cover that cost. I will try and place an order.
