Default Tracking illegal activity- check in if you are experiencing it please

In the last couple nights, about 6 trucks were stolen in the Paradise Valley area, quads, round up, fence posts, fertilizer, tools.

I am hoping some of these farmers and town folks will let me put up dvr systems for them, catch these dirty rotten worthless pieces of excrement.

Or maybe someone will trap the rodents and relocate them.

Let's see if we can figure out a pattern.

Or not, if you are not interested.

Were any of these items for sale prior to being stolen?

Are they similar makes and models?

Are the vehicles in a similar area?

Is there a common thread with the people who had stuff stolen.. Ie) All belong to an association, same employer, same recreation facilities...

Is there a common thread with the thefts. Ie) Location, time frame stolen, day stolen. Can you map it to a certain grid in Paradise Valley?

I hate to say it, but most rural crime statistics show that 9 times out of 10, it's locals from the general area.

Have they been serviced recently at the same shop?
Do all the people who had their trucks stolen know each other?

Your thief may not be that far away and hard to find.

You could always set out a decoy truck on surveillance, if one has a GPS, even better, or hard wire in a GPS tracking device in the decoy truck. You want to make it irresistible to steal.

For surveillance you can use cameras, etc to catch the perp. Use your surroundings in the area to mast the surveillance. The thief will be more concerned about looking for the obvious, but less cautious as he or she has gotten away with a few stolen items now. The confidence of the thief is up and they are bound to start making errors.

Good luck catching the ****rats.

It would be a shame if one of those big ol' meat hook paws of yours landed on their heads. Lol.

RCMP and Luseland police just caught a 31 year old male from Calgary after a high speed chase between Kerrobert and the Alberta/Sask border. Guy was driving a stollen truck, with a stolen trailer and two stolen snowmobiles on it. He tried to crash a couple police cars and tried running a railway track. He is now facing 16 charges. Could be some theft ring hitting the area. Not far from Lloyd to Macklin/Biggar area.

Lots of quads going missing where I am. Less than a hour from ken. Not local punks either. These guys loaded up my dads quad, he had sank it the day before and had all the fluids out of it and sitting on his trailer. Subsequent terrorist activity against local hood rats revealed no knowledge of this crime lol.

I did work in this company's head office in Calgary, they have equipment that lets you GPS track your vehicles or golf bags or practically anything:

Like I posted once before on another thread, there were a bunch of quads and snow machines being stolen in my neighborhood.

The culprits were storing everything in an old barn.

There is always a snitch who needs money for an addiction. They seem to sing when they see the fifties.

I recall hearing about couple of guys in Red Deer/ Blackfalds area that went on a crime spree and stole a couple things at a number of businesses; they stashed all of the stolen loot in one of the guys' garage. Well, he apparently had a warrant out, so RCMP came to his house and during the course of standard property search found the pile of stolen stuff. Wow, dumb criminals around these days. Where are the Professor Moriartys?
