Default Trout fishing near stony

Me and my dad just got new float tubes and want to head out to a good trout lake to try fly fishing in them around stony...some of our ideas were either...muir...east pit...chikakoo...or salters...any feedback on these lakes or any other good lakes in our area is helpful

East pit is a good bet, Some big fish in there also as it is deep. Hasse is very close to you, its a fun lake haven't been in a couple years but I am sure it is still good.
Good luck.

Hasse is dead as of 2 years ago except for some pike and perch but the fishing there is not at all worth it anymore, East pits a good bet the fishing is usually good but the fishing can be good at muir to personally I'd go to muir.

east pit at this time of year because its deep, the fish in muir must be getting boiled alive with this heat. Fish deep. 10-25' deep is where you should focusing on.

i would suggest salter because it is deep and areated. some big ones in there and very easy access.
spring lake has some very nice bows and it is large and areated. very close to stony but tricky to access if your a first timer.
east pit is a deep clean lake but you better be in shape to tackle that hill or the longer walk around. wouldn't want to do it with a lot of gear.
