Just heard on the news tonight that the search and rescue team and RCMP have now recoved the second missing person.

Condolences too friends and families of these folks that were part of their lives.

Very tight nit community up there as they will be missed I'm sure.

Talked to my brother in law who lives in Ft Chip and was in the search party looking for these guys. All experienced bushman who were out hunting and hit some ice at high speed. All wearing chest waders that filled up when they capsized. Feel so bad for the families. Big loss to the community. RIP boys

For those who hate sad stories, this video may be one you don't want to see.

For those of us who know men like the four lost, this video is gut wrenching beyond words.

For me it is a reminder of all those I have know who are now hunting above the clouds.
Old school hunters who hunted to survive, to feed their families.
Men who never know cell phones or the internet. Men who didn't carry compasses or GPS devices.

Men who camped under the stars, maybe with a tarp for a shelter, maybe not.

I miss you all, Jack, Howard, John Ojerholm, Wim, Dad, Uncle Charles, Dave, Joe, Pasquale, and too many more.

Greet the four for us.

Those who have left us such fond memories have only gone ahead to clear the trails for us to follow.
