Default Winchester 38-55, Can you tell me about it?

A friend of mine has the opportunity to inherit a Winchester Model 1894 in a 38-55 Caliber. She will have to jump through some hoops to do so as the gun is in RCMP hands.

Is this a dime a dozen gun or would it have collector value?

Thanks in advance!

Lots of variables.

Serial number will tell you its age.

Original condition is a must for a collector.

Maybe some more info on the rifle and we can let you know pretty much everything about it.....if you have some good pictures that helps
