Yes I can dig up my chrony and test it out. I'll pm you the cost my wife may see this thread. If she did then she'd be able to explain the penetration of a 460 on a fat guy to you!!!

My wife is aware of the cost. I hear about it all the time. But if I am loading her ammo its all good.

just tell her it is oscars fault she will be good with that and shoot at him instead.........lol

My wife doesn't burn up much ammo, like none.

I didn't get time to chrony any of the factory stuff yet. Had to make a quick trip to Edmonton via the outlaws place. Maybe tomorrow.

Thats a looker of a Weatherby!!! I'm starting to get the 460 bug all of the sudden ever shoot a deer with it? If I buy a 460 wby i'll hunt whitetail with it when i'm in the thick bush.

Yeah, thats all I've shot with it. One deer to date. It was 100yds ish and broadside. I gave him one in the ribs behind the leg and he did the funky chicken for 20 yds and fell over dead. I was ready with another shot in case he charged though. Those bucks can go for the jugular in a blink. The hole was not bad going in and the same coming out. Inside was a mess though. NASA is still tracking that bullet.
