just inquired about a timney myself for a rem 700. gunsmith wants $435 and includes installation.
Are all Timneys the same? I want one that is 1.5 lbs right hand with safety.

You should be fine with a standard timney $160 there is another I belive its the calvin elite it is about $80 more ithink cant remember either way that is a rediculous price they are a 10 minute job to install and adjust do yourself a favour buy one and a trigger pull scale and install yourself it will be much cheaper

RS Precision carries Timney. You would need to make an appointment to pick it up but that is not big deal. You can also order Timney and Rifle Basix from the States and have them delivered here. Save a few buck usually over the local price.
