Default Lakes with boat rental around Edmonton?

Hi all, new to the forums here. I fish for Pike in Alberta, and Bass when outside of the province.

My question is are there any lakes around Edmonton that rent fishing boats?

I just need an alum and a little motor nothing fancy, if you could name some lakes that do it would be much appreciated.

Fawcett Lake has a place on the west end that rents out a 14 and 16ft alum boat with 15hp evinrudes. They are about 2-3hrs from Edmonton. Called Anchor Inn Resort, and the fishing is non-stop too, lots of nice sized pike with alot of fight in em. Use a good leader though, they cut lines like no business, lost 7 good hooks in one day of fishing.

Here is the site: http://www.anchorinnresort.ca/

Just following up with BBJ. I was at Long Lake south of Boyle this past weekend and all tho I didn't rent I checked out the prices. $150 a day, not sure if they were 12's or 14's. I just looked at them from the end of the dock. With 9.9 Yami's. Life jackets included, anchor's xtra. The fishing sucks.

I found this place on lac la nonne.

www.killdeerbeachresort.com

I'm not sure what the fishing is like i've never been to lac la nonne. I emailed them to see what they had for rentals and this is what they replied.

"We rent out a 16 foot aluminum fishing boat with a 15 hp.outboard on the back. It will fit 4 people.
We charge $20 per hour plus the fuel that you use. You would have to phone and reserve the boat in advance."

Default Carson

I think Carson was around $90 / day for an aluminum with a 9.9 hp, last I heard.
Just so you know, its nothing but rainbow trout in Carson - no pike. Lots of trout and they are easy to catch.

whats your secret? LOL

my girlfriend doesn't mind fishing either. She just won't touch the fish or bait her hook. Other then that she loves it.

Rentals at Carson were $25/hour or $150/day a couple of weeks ago.

You will catch Rainbow Trout, and there is lots of trees. You don't need a boat really, fishing off the seawall is solid...

Slave Lake has rentals.

I asked the camp owner when we were out there for the tournament last weekend.

Roland on the River
Great place to camp and he'll rent you 1 of his boats, had around 6 I would guess

Lots of walleye to be caught there
