Default A few critter pics from the weekend

Was playing with the camera a bit while I was out camping this weekend

These guys provided us with a ridiculous amount of entertainment Sunday morning

Hopefully that all worked...Photobucket has been acting wonky for me lately
And jumping spiders are just plain neat

If that squirrel and spitz picture was centered more it would be perfect. Are these with the fujifilm or do you have a new camera now?

I don't have a Fuji so I'm not sure what camera you're thinking of.

These pics were taken with my Samsung WB2100, and then I also have a smaller Sony as well.

The squirrel is awesome just like it is. IMO, centred shots are often visually boring.

The zebra jumping spider, Salticus scenicusis, is a very successful European import. They are very charming little inverts.

Nice pics J...one of those zebra jumping dudes lives in one of my buddies trail camera lock boxes...I actually caught myself talking to the spider one day, and I hate spiders...never usually give them the time of day!

I'm honestly not a big fan of spiders either...they kinda give me the heebie-jeebies

That said, there's something about jumping spiders...they're just neat little guys and somehow less creepy than other spiders

Great pix Geezle.

No fish pix?

Say, Does that squirrel still have his tail on him?

Like, that tail did not end up on a fishing hook after you took a picture.

And that spider. You didn't put him at the end of some "spider wire flouo braid".

Thanks again.

Sadly no fish pics from this excursion...we put in some time fishing but it was pretty much a bust. Ended up stopping at Wab on the way home and got a few pike, but nothing really photo worthy
