Default White tail deer call

Hello everyone I would like to ask a question: Is legal to use Grunt Deer Call to hunting white tail deer ? Like this one : https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/p...p.1759939.html

What were you planning on doing with it? If you want to call deer with it, then yes, you're good to go.

Never used the "roar" or "snort-wheeze" calls, but I've been told that it's the equivalent of telling a buck that his mom is mass-positive.

I can't comment on that particular call, but a basic grunt call can be great, combined with rattling.

After my buddy scared roughly a dozen bucks with a snot wheeze it went in the trash lol

I love calling but have adapted to being more passive and using jealousy than trying to pick a fight. It has been much more effective

Tending Buck grunts(try to sound younger) combined with doe bleats. Make the big boy think he is missing out on some tail and he can easily take out the competition

That's my preferred method as well. Bit more of a subtle approach.

Perhaps the snort-wheeze is better suited in areas with a more concentrated deer population, such as many areas in the US.
