I've just presented Hunting license and been good to go. They get a little uptight about brain and spine material from what I have noticed tho and if bringing heads best to clean them well

Default Game Meat Import from USA

When we bring back Pheasants from Montana you first must stop on the US side and have them physically check your birds and fill in an export form. They then issue you an export permit which allows you to proceed to Canadian Border Services and you then make normal declarations. Make sure you have your Canadian PAL to bring your firearms back over the Canadian border. I'm assuming any wild game would be the same.

Stop at US Customs and fill out a USFW Form 3-1777. This is a form that's used by USFW to export any wildlife from the US legally.

If its a non-CITES animal, then this is all USFW will require.

Take a copy of this stamped form and present it to CBSA as well as having your tags handy.

Follow any Provincial regulations in regards to bones/skull/etc for CWD purposes and you should be good to go.
