I heard rumours about that.... Ridiculous

How was finding fuel in red earth? I've heard the Loon Lake Esso is shut down?
I assume Hwy 88 carrying on North of the Peerless turn is still open?
Sorry for taking over your thread, not every day a guy has boots on the ground up there.

Thanks!!

Who is blocking the road? As if I need to guess. I have been up to Peerless/Graham a few times 20 yrs ago and that was a problem back then until the RCMP stepped in. Thinking they won’t do a damn thing now.

Thanx for the update. The blockade is as you say, right before the turnoff, which I learned is called Trout Mountain Corner.

Let's just say that I have not been to Goosegrass in 10 years, and it did not disappoint! Feisty pike there! The road in was impassable with 4x4 pickups and it seemed to have a lot more ruts than I remember. I guess it keeps the fishing pressure down, so I won't complain.

Oops. Blockade is AFTER the turnoff, NOT before.
