Default Looks like another Can Tire is going to the "Dark Side"

Just walking thought the fort road store in Edmonton, and it looks like they are putting in the gun section that I've seen other places.

yay. Does this mean when I ask for a winchester model 70, I'll get the same stunned look I get when I ask for a spark plug socket?

Two thumbs up for more selection and competition anyway. Kudos.

Default CTC gun dept = there's more of us

The really good news about this Edmonton CTC returning from the dark side is that the market -that means us hunters and target shooters and farmers and and- has come back in sufficient numbers that there's money to be made selling guns and ammo.

iow, our numbers must be up!

Most who try Firearms love them, using a gun safely is some of the best times out there!

Glad to see signs of our numbers increasing and easily understandable as per why they are.

Exsile Sports have been getting their stock of guns in too. Things are looking up.

We only had Sylvester's Source for Sports locally in Bonnyville and Don's Guns in Ardmore, but I am not sure how much business Don's gets.

I hope this makes prices more competitive all round.

Wonder if the Cabelas opening up down the road has anything to do with it. LOL!

When the day comes, I need something from Canadian Tire I hope I'm having a pit dug for my carcass. Mossberg, Savage, and SKS by the pound or kg, I'll pass.

The "Terminator Shotgun", you should clarify that you are most likely referring to the handheld lever action shotgun (The M1887 lever-action shotgun) used in T2, not the SPAS12 used in T1, as the SPAS12 is a prohibited firearm in Canaduh...

Also, it's most likely they have a TNW MG34, as there is no commercially available Semi Auto MG42 in Canada, but there is the TNW MG34...

Was just in the cold lake Canadian tire and yes it is the TNW MG42. And lots of selection more than your savage and mossberg. Just glancing seen Brownings, benellis, berettas, weatherbys and lots more. Good to see.

Remember the old Macleod's stores? You could walk by the guns and touch them!
