Default 41 inch pike Underwater Strike trolling video

https://youtu.be/yGGaTR7Khcw

Ever wonder what it looks like when the big trophy northern pike bites your bait. This is the video for you! Finally, after 3 years with the camera, I got a trophy on the camera, too bad the bigger pike spit the hook. This video shows how a pike reacts to trolling the big 9.5-inch Shadzilla paddle tail bait. This was all shot at Elk Island Lodge on August 1st, 2019 on Gods Lake, Manitoba, Canada. Thank you for watching !! Make sure you stay tuned for more 2019 Underwater strike videos of walleye, northern pike and lake trout.
Camera Used: Water Wolf HD v1.1

Nice. Thanks for sharing that. Do you find that the large fish always come in from below and behind? Certainly here both came in from below and behind. Do smaller fish also do the same?

Glad everyone likes the video, Thank you! And Yeah the big ones mostly come from below and behind (that is why sometimes it feels like nothing is there, while the fish is swimming towards you), the small ones do come from behind also but they also follow more. I have another video coming in the next few weeks that will show the strikes of smaller pike and will share it here when it is done.

They sure strike quick but it looks like they give up pretty quick as well or maybe its just the videos perspective.
