Default Coleman stove, converter for propane

Just saw this little converter and thought it looks handy, and easier than the old gas tanks on my coleman stoves. Has anyone used these? how good do they work? any thoughts ?

It has been around for a long time. I had one on my gas stove 30 or more years ago. If I looked hard I may even still have it in my junk collection .
