Wish I had a better link fellas...but this guy is shooting a 50 BMG, and appears to get a ricochet straight back at him....you can see the divot the bullet takes out of the ground about 15 ft. in front before he gets gooned!



I have a tough time seeing the 50BMG bouncing off of ANYTHING and coming straight back at the shooter.

Ya it was a bit hard to believe! Audio sounded a bit phoney like it was added in after.

I dont think it came straight back.
My thought is that it hit the plate went straight up, and spun like hell. When it came back down, the way it was spinning caused it to "bounce" back at the shooter. i.e. where it hit the 15 feet in front of him.

You can hear the ricochet after it hits the plate, and the delay is MUCH to long for it to have come straight back. And it comming straight back... I cannot see that happening, as well as it would have made a hole in his head if it could somehow come straight backwards. It arched up into the air for a little while before comming back at the shooter.

That is my take on the event.

A buddy of mine has one, we were busting grader blade with it, shattering would be more like it. I might buy the ricochet theory though.

holy crap. real or not thats crazy. but they didnt have the cam on the side of the dudes head.
