Good game bud. Next time I'm gonna let TC take the bet. He always wins. Superstitions run high in hockey haha.

Just got home and having a celebration drink. Didn't win the 50/50, but a great night none the less.

Both goal tenders had solid nights but I feel Rittich made more big stops. Some big hits from both sides. The identity line was good and I liked Hathaway's game as well. Both McDavid and Johnny seemed to be fighting the puck all night and contributed to the low scoring affair.

And at holding the line in the offensive zone. They are about 50-50 at keeping the puck in. SOOO frustrating!

Good game nonetheless, sure wasn't expecting a well behaved one goal game.

I lost $5 that Tkachuck would Tka-Turtle when someone challenged him. He was pretty well behaved tonight, he didn't want none of Kassian last game or this one.

Still doesn't get any easier, Colorado on Tuesday and Jets on Thursday

Well, game #1 of his career comes to mind. A vicious slew foot on Brendan Davidson. Davie was out for a while with a concussion.

Big game tonight (big game every night). Koskinen is between the pipes again. A win tonight and we pass the Stars and Knights for the 1st wild card and will be 4 points out of 1st. Man the Pacific is tight right now.

Let's Go Oilers!

So you wanna go a bottle of Crown on this game Bessie? As long as you are on a roll....?

I like the look of the Av this year, that McKinnon line is disgusting. He is actually one of my favorite players, really admire his skill and work ethic, seems like a stand up kid too....

Well I just felt bad about you missing out on a two bottle win on Sunday, so figured I'd give you another chance. I don't normally bet on sports at all, except with you.... hope it's a good fast game and nobody gets hurt.

I was talking with a young friend today, he played hockey with my son back in atoms, and he had done me a favor so wanted to drop him off a moose garlic sausage....found out he was playing beer league on Sunday, his team winning 5-1 with a couple minutes left...and some idiot decided to go full bore on him. Put him head first into boards from 3 feet out. He got his arm up, but his right elbow is shattered. He spent a couple hours in surgery yesterday, got plates and pins holding it all together. Will be off work at least 3 weeks, months of healing and rehab. Idiot kicked out of league, big deal. Anyway, makes me not wish for anyone to get hurt playing a game. Figured I'd share that, and we can all enjoy the game.
