Default Bobby Hart Stocks

Nice looking stock. Fully adjustabe. Bedding block is a FAIL but I guess that's what marine tex is for. Overall pretty happy with the purchase.

Inletting black on the rem action shows very poor contact as usual with most bedding blocks, will have to be skim bedded, was hoping this would not be necessary

Nice lookin stock. I figure pretty much every stock needs at least some type of skim bed/recoil lug bedding so that's a given. What does something like that set a guy back?

Check stockeys website then tack on a couple hundred. Will also have to mill out the slot for the recoil lug, not a big deal, I hate skinny lugs. Only like skinny women with big lugs, I mean...

it is known (well known to me) that the bedding blocks in a lot of the stocks from them in 2013 had problems with the bedding block and their answer was that the subcontractor was not doing a great job but no warranty or refunds,

so order it without a block or be prepared to fiddle with it when you get it up here,

was looking at the benchrest stock it looks kinda neat as well,

is it Ok to post link as not in competition with anybody up here,

we will see when the rest of the rifle parts come in I will get to this. Upon closer inspection the rear of the block where the tang sits is a few thousanths below the wood. Some careful sanding may remedy this one as right now the rear tang is resting on the wood and not the block. Will see what kind of contact we have after that, then re-do the clear coat.
