Hunting around slave lake

Hello everyone, we normally hunted west around WMU 330 but since we want to try a new area we are taking a trip up to slave lake tomorrow. we will be mainly SE of slave lake.

we have white-tailed tags and i also bought an elk tag in case we spot one

so basically if anyone can help point us in the right direction that would be great, and if you don't want to share one here feel free the PM me

There’s deer around, tho not nearly what they once were. Elk are very rare. It will be muddy. Bad bad mud.

Excellant area,to hunt fish.Haul your trailer into the walmart parking lot to get organized.The slave river,You can easily haul your trailer to the slave river,pick up some walleye and pike.Pick up two doe tags,and proceed to highway 33 lots of public land,and lots of deer.Head west passed slave lake,look for permission to hunt elk.Oh yes for a unique fishing experience at the west end of the lake you can bridge fish for walleye at the Grouard channel. I just spent 5 daye there ate walleye every day,and filled the doe tag. good luck.
