Default Finally Caught Up On My Reloading

With the cold weather limiting my time outdoors, I have been catching up on my shotshell reloading. I finally ran out of hulls today for a total of 2300- 410 target loads, and 4000 -28 gauge target loads. At about $6 per box to load, I saved about $1500, compared to factory loads. I don't bother loading 12 or 20 gauge, but it is certainly worthwhile for the 28 gauge and 410.

Wow. That’s impressive! Cost saving is right.

That’s pretty good savings

We all cheat a little on cost to reload as don’t we charge for our time , cost of reloading tools. Cost of travel to locate components. It’s a fun pastime

Hope you bust some clay . I’ve owned a few Winchester model 42 in 410 wish I had those still

I only saved about $700 on the first 5000 of each(10,000 rounds total), because the presses cost me $750 each plus taxes and shipping. I am now on my second 5000 of each, and by the time I use up all of the components and load all 10,000 rounds, I will save around $2400 on those 10,000 rounds. So the 6300 rounds has saved me around $1500. If I figure it out by the hour, I am getting $50-$60 per hour for my time.
