Default Anyone know?

ACA promised to add 7 aeration systems to lakes in Alberta about 5 years ago.
Does anyone know where they are located?

Don

Folks,

Here is a summary for a pile of years.
Number has remained the same for a number of years @ 19.
However, several new ones added, others removed

Are you thinking about the conversion of aerators? 5 years ago is roughly when they shut a bunch of aerators down because of the interpretation of legislation then they started changing the style of aerators in a number of lakes.

That was a momentary blip in time. As far as I know, the aeration systems are back to the same type. The experiment into the a different system was unsuccessful.
The only one that is different is located at Police Outpost Lake.
There was one removed from Boelkes Pond cause a guy drove his truck into the aeration hole.
Overall, there has been no increase in angling opportunities.

I was only looking for ACA aerated lakes as there was a promise to increase by 7.

If I recall correctly, Salters is done by the local F&G club.
F&G has another pond near Pine Lake aerated if I recall correctly.

I saw that someone had posted on fishing discussion recently that Chickakoo
( Parkland county) was now aerated.

Haven't fished it in six ( or more years) so can't confirm this.

I wonder about contacting Troy Furukawa at ACA .

He might be able to shed some light on this ?

Default another

I believe 'West' Dollar is now aerated as well. Not sure if we should count that as 'another' opportunity though.
