Not being rude. Just saying there is no blanket answer. Problem is that most don't look, and even those who do look, don't understand. Dihydrogen monoxide sounds terrible, doesn't it!

For the love of god.

Stay away from frozen prefab, Otherwise you may as well just go to McDonalds.

Not sure what your wife uses on her chicken, but even if she is following a diet, she can use condiments on her chicken.

Costco pre made non frozen beef patties. A dozen for under $20.

Just have to teach the wife, to pull some out for you at the same time as she takes out her chicken.

How many would know acetic acid is just vinegar? Funny thing to me is everyone can focus on the meat, then lather it in condiments full of all kinds of chemicals as well, side dish probably as well. Just sayin...

Default I will have to give the costco ones another try

We had a frozen pack of burgers from them years ago JIC the boys or company dropped in for a last minute BBQ. Cant say I was impressed but they may have been from another company and not Kirklands own brand.
Prior to that we usually had a frozen Walmart burger box in freezer that my sister and brother in Ontario introduced me to. Extra thick&Juicy Angus burgers? Best I have had.
We now pick up ground beef and pork on sale with eggs spice bread crumbs and onion and make our own. I make them extra large and thick to allow for shrinkage unless I am making Emiril Lagasse Cajun Chef blue cheese burgers. Roll them a little thinner than my gigantic ones. Apply a zesty blue cheese on top and put another burger on top and seal the edges to avoid all the cheese melting and leaking out. In April we mix a fresh batch pre shape and seal 2 or 3 burgers in a food saver bag so we can pull them out when we need them all summer. We did 38 this year which we though was a lot but my brother and sister in law did 70 in Ontario

Costco fresh made. Our local Co-op has really good fresh ones made with fresh chuck-meat. Nice and thick. Sprinkle salt and pepper, place on grill, salt/pepper top side.

Buddy makes up his own patties then gets out the barbecue and does about 30 or 40 burgers then freezes them. Takes out a few as he needs and warms them up in a frying pan. good burgers.

Amazed no one mentioned Kubi burgers. They are the beat all other patties. They taste just like good quality coarse ground ham kobasa. Someone must make them down around the Hat.

Marchyshyn's Home Meat Market. 111 ave & 96 str. Edmonton.

My issue with the store bought burgers is the outrageous SODIUM content...Just sayin'
Read that on the label and then make your own..

Not just the sodium, but the fat content is usually off the charts. 35-40grams of fat per patty sometimes. That is how they make them taste at least decent (at best). Lots of fat, lots of salt.

In the hat douglas makes some good ones but Reg's in the south makes a mesquite burger (or something along those lines, in display case 2 bucks a patty) which has to be one of the best ones I've had

We like the Kirkland ones, Read the ingredients on the package, if it reads 'ground beef" yo are good to go, those frozen burgers are awfull, no meat just filler.

Buy round steak on sale, grind it yourself. Better than any prepared pattie.
Venison is better, of course.

Due to the huge cost of beef, a box of 8 burgers at my local TGP was outrageous. So I tried Walmart. 8 burgers for 11 ish bucks(about half price of Tgp) and they tasted good, didn't shrink to hard hockey pucks. If not making my own, Walmart will get the nod when the need for a quick bbq meal comes along.

Kirkland is pretty good.

Tried the "Keg" burgers, pretty good. I am thinking I will make my own patties, 75% beef and 25% pork. The Keg burgers were good but very expensive and a 6oz burger is a little much for me, 4 oz should be adequate.

Douglas has some tasty burgers.....I don't consider Costco burgers even close.
They make great sausage and sandwich meat too.
I don't really plan on making my own burgers now till I get my next moose or elk.

Keg burgers get my vote. 4 oz. A little pricey but I figure I'm worth it.

Moran’s 85/15 Premium Angus Beef Patties!!! I dont like the frozen meat specially for something like burgers! but this brand I think one of the best because the meat doesnt taste like it was frozen at all!
