North Leland Lake Anyone?

Just looking to hear from anyone who has fished North or South Leland. We are going june 7th. I supose depending on ice out and water temps Lakers should be up high still. I'm not sure if we should bother bringing downriggers or not, I don't have much experience with lake trout. Our group is full of big pike hunters, but we have 5 days to enjoy the lake so we will definetely be looking for some lake trout and walleye as well.
Hoping to hear from anyone who has been there. You dont have to tell me your favorite spots (although you can), just want to hear your stories and experiences, that goes for any one of the andrew lake outposts.
