Default Anyone wanna go halfers on a recreational cabin in Oregon?

I was window shopping for rural property that I can't afford and saw this derelict shanty. I has some potential as a fixer-upper, anyone wanna go halfers on it? We might not even bump into each other if we're there at the same time!

https://www.zillow.com/homes/for_sal...94_rect/5_zm/?

Instead of halfers I might have to go 1/96th on my end......

There's not enough parking space.

Now if every member of AO forums chipped in $336 bucks each we could have a heck of a clubhouse. 500 acres would only be good enough for shooting ranges, 3D target runs and a stocked fishing pond.

If that place has asphalt shingles it might be like painting the Golden Gate Bridge, just keep a permanent crew that starts over once it hits the end.... the utility bill has got to be pretty frightening.

The clubhouse idea isn’t too bad, the saloon off the equestrian barn looked nice though there would probably be fellows losing their clubhouse stake at that poker table.

Count me out.
I find it rather ugly, much better scenic homes/land out there to buy.

Paying for a quarter of our new clubhouse is very generous.
We'll name a wing after you.

Estimated monthly payment:
$120,000
I'd have to make monthly payments on the monthly payments.

Somehow it just seems right that the Alberta outdoorsmen forum club house would be outside of Alberta.

Default sorry have to pass

Caber would be upset with me for swimming my retrievers in the stocked pond.
Bessie would be upset if my trees hung over the fence on his side and the other neighbor would want me to pay $400 and bully me into building a fence on his property line. I just cant take any more pressures of ownership!

I can say that because I know there isn’t anyone else for the remaining 3/4.

Anyone seriously interested in buying doesn’t need to go halfers with anyone.

I went gulp when I seen this ... I'm out.

D.

Property taxes per $20,000/month. This estimate is based on the home value and an estimated local tax rate. Actual rate may vary. Home price $24,000,000 X 1% Tax rate = $240,000 /year.

This forum is FREE to join and the entitlement in here is laughable ...Could you imagine what the discussions would be if every member PAID $336 and insisted what they wanted done

Most likely a sad fact...win the lottery and still can't buy your dream home, maybe I'm dreaming to big, I'd better relook at my options, I may have enough saved up to pay just to stand and look at it for 20 min.. Il go with that till I can tap into my family money...the extra $115.00 shud help alittle I suppose!

Deal breaker

It looks like my grandma designed the games room, a shuffleboard table and ping pong table?

So close, but I can’t justify spending that kind of money on a house with a ping pong table as the main attraction in the games room.

Lol,
Well I guess that’s how the important people in Montana live.
I couldn’t afford those places if they were given to me

Can you imagine treating all the cedar on some of those?

Or just maintaining the driveways?

Or paying the heating or insurance?

Naw, I’ll stick with my little place. I can still look after it and go hunting once in a while

3000 Acres of prime real outdoorsman real estate, with a perfect home.. Easily one of the nicest properties I have seen, and If I won the Lotto I would buy Today!
