what kind of hunt are you looking for? You're almost right in the middle of being to low for some of the good prairie zones and to many points for most of the mountain zones.

Lots of answers to give depending if you want a backcountry, trophy, driving, etc type of hunt. Most areas have good quantity, not many have great trophy (330+) but if you are looking for a good bull, lots of spots have them.

Most north western/foothills elk zones have very few if any good herd bulls.
Then with your first post on AO I assume you are a very experienced elk hunter. Thus for your first 10 years of elk hunting I suggest you shot the first bull elk with Any horns you see.
