Disappearing post count?

Anyone else notice a large number of your posts disappear one night?

I was deleting some pictures and came across a screenshot I took of a comment I made.
In it, the post count is nearly 600 higher than it is today.
Not that I care, as I'm not even sure why it's listed, just found it fairly odd.

If some old closed threads got deleted and you had a ton of posts in it, the count also will adjust. Think how many posts were in the (C - word ending in - D lols) thread alone had that would have gone away for the most active members.

Not saying it is that 100%, but it certainly could be a contributor.
