Default Bayers buys Monsanto

Business is getting too big. This is a little concerning... "is set to create a company with control of more than a quarter of the world’s seed and pesticides market."

Next thing you know Bayers will be making all the farmers grow pharmaceutical crops instead of grains.

Corporate rebranding and misdirection. In a few years, only a handful of people will remember the stories about Monsanto and their underhanded tactics. They will be derided as conspiracy theorists spouting anecdotes and outright lies when they remind people of the truth.
The electronic records will gradually be purged of all information that shows Monsanto in a bad light, and history will be rewritten; because the next generation will know Bayer as the company that saved people from heart attacks with their "magic aspirin".

Yup, just get in their way and see what happens.

Had a wise technology Director at ARC a over 30 years ago that predicted this in future. Only a few mega corporations will control the worlds commerce.

Bingo. Not a good thing, IMO. Figure it out. Divide the limited resources of the world more equally. Let's just say it is not going to help us and the rest of the G7 countries long term.

I think the ultimate goal is to bring the 3rd world up to 2nd world status at the same time bringing the 1st world down to 2nd or less status. The wealth transfer from the 1st world to the 3rd is well under way. Immigration from the 3rd world to 1st world nations has been ramped up in an effort to dilute 1st world nations eventually leaving countries without national identities. This will be overwhelmingly supported by 3rd world nations and those emigres already in the 1st world and 1st world socialist leftists to support globalism. 3rd world outnumbers 1st world population about 3 to 1. Everyone everywhere eventually having a similar standard of living under one global government with satellite national govt's under their direction. This is happening and is conducive to the goals of globalists and global corporations who own media and push this agenda in various ways, essentially they are one and the same as far as international sponsorship and lobbying of this global power brokerage scheme. Globally we have been slowly and incrementally pointed at the gate for a few decades now, well on our way and picking up speed down the path to an international social oligarchy.

Just my opinion, but this is the most intelligent post I have read on this subject. There is no possible way I could agree with your words any more than I do. The water is gradually heating to a boil and most of the frogs in the pot are oblivious; those who aren't are at a loss as to how to slow/stop being boiled alive.

Yup. The homogenizing and de-humanizing of the globe's populations. Lives monitored and controlled by digital numbers. Humans as livestock.

Now Bayers will feed you Monsanto foods that get you sick and then sell you the pills to correct the sickness. Bayers will keep you alive with food through your working life and pickle you with their potions to put you out of your misery at retirement. Bayers will control everyone's expiry date.

Just like some big companies making diabetes pills also make sugary candy.

Yes as a whole we are oblivious. We are caught up in political correctness, equality, acceptance, sharing, etc. Anyone questioning this are hailed as bigots, racists, greedy, etc. What they don't realize is equality doesn't mean the have not nations and societies will be brought up to our standard of living, it means our first world standard will be brought down to equate with those nations and the masses of the 3rd world moving up the economic and social ladder. I figure the status quo will end about 2/5th's of the way up the ladder with the orchestrating elite sitting at the top taking great benefit from the seething mass of humanity who will be shuttered out of climbing the ladder.

It is the only logical outcome of capitalism. Fewer and Fewer, larger and larger businesses.
I like capitalism, but its not a good long term plan. it just needs to reset every 100 years.

This is precisely a perfect scenario where a handful of multi national companies can control their interests globally without the influence of the "1st world" investment community which, currently, drives a large interest in their equity. By diminishing the 1st world class, and their disposable income which is now invested, effective holding this class down, this results in diminishing their influence. No money - No say.

Imagine these businesses accountable to no one except themselves (controlled by a very small group of super elites) and their own agendas and controlling who gets elected where through the use of the media engine fueled by their dollars and lobby.

They need people to eat their foods, but their meds, subscribe to their products.

A perfect new world order.

I always find it startling that some of the biggest corporations in the world funded hitler and helped move his agenda. never sure why those companies weren't dismantled and removed from the planet.

anyhoo, here we are, two rotten to the core companies about to run the show.
should note that bayer has been a farming company for quite some time and the spin off from Monsanto on the pharmacy side was pharmacia.
Monsanto used to be the worlds largest holder of silicone chip manufacturing, provided most enriched uranium worldwide, extractors of caffeine coke being their oldest client, the owners of over 1200 flavours that they still receive royalties on, the co creators of the corvette, creators of sacrin and the first company to hire investigators to investigate themselves and charge themselves in court on the damaging effects of sacrin. also, they're the first too big to fail company; during the depression, the US federal govt said Monsanto is too important and should not fail, so the govt kept them afloat through that period from 1929 to 1945,, so they just kept working on things and patents.

and then there's bayer
