Default 248 action

What's it like in the Bowzone, have they started tear stuff up yet? or is it a little behind like in the states? Way too warm.

It's been pretty steady action on the grounds I hunt. All the deer have been later than I'm accustomed to for hitting fields to feed. Nearly all the bucks are waiting until right at last light. Moving further back into the timber has produced solid daylight action. Scrapes are starting to pop up more and more in the usual spots. Both my target bucks are being vampires though. That'll be changing up soon enough. It's been getting progressively warmer but it isn't hot yet. My observations from perch to perch and through the spotting scope.

Lots of sign, and multiple bucks hitting scrapes. Not a lot of daytime action quite yet.....The cool off this weekend should produce.

Also seeing night activity WT, the mule deer are just plain rutty. Chased a big guy for 3 days as he dogged a hot doe, unfortunately I couldn't cut them off or got busted by other does in the harem.

I got bucks that weren't there before now on the property including hunt. All in one group though.

Couldn't pull a beauty 4x4 away from his girlfriend tonight, that's the third doe in that spot I have seen being chased by a buck in the last week.

Watched two decent bucks dogging a doe tonight, the one was trying to keep her from going back in the bush. Both bucks knew I was there and were within 60 yards but were totally fixated on the doe. Fun to see it starting again....

Default one 10pt buck and 2 does

Managed to rattle in the biggest 10 point whitetail buck i've ever seen up to 10 yards this morning, too bad i wasn't paying attention behind me or he'd be dead

After he walked away into the bush 2 does came chasing after him (i thought that was weird, they reversed order!) neither gave me a shot either.
hope to get out tonight and rattle him back in, since i think i know where he bedded down
