Liked him until I caught his act on that reality show about forming a "super band". What an egomaniac jerk. Not impressed.

Well I have kinda got some mixed feelings about the guy. When ON first banned the spring bear hunt I remember going onto his site and right there on the home page was a crossed out Canadian flag with the saying "Boycott Canada". Wow......really Ted? News flash for you bud, the Canadian government don't give 2 hoots about what you think we should do, and this ain't your country. What, he had a hunt booked, had to cancel, and this was his knee jerk reaction? I for one was not in support, nor am I now, but who does this guy think he is? Could we have used support, possibly, would things be different, no, but sticking it to the Canadian outfitters didn't help anything. Let's face it, that's all that possibly could have happened from his little pout. No doubt he screwed a couple Canadian outfitters out of some business and look like a real ignorant yank in the process. Really used his head there didn't he......

That being said, I guess he has some good hunting values and ethics from what I've seen and heard him say, but short of that, don't have time of day for him. I sent him a fairly long email regarding the issue, and of course there was no response. Just as well......

Ya rum that boycot canada thing is a bit much.Some of the other rants he gets on make him sound like a spoiled kid to.Good to hear it all.I`m not his biggiest fan or anything,but the guy is a nut bar about hunting and some of the stuff he says is good.But thats why i started this thread to get the full story on what fellow canadians think of this guy.Thanks rum.

All in all he is a very successful rednek and people listen to him and he does not apologise for hunting!....

One-to-one, he's a nice guy. Normal, good natured, and an outdoor nut. I don't know him personally, but I had the opportunity to meet him several years ago.

He's too excessive when the cameras are around. He gets really weird and has a habit of saying the wrong thing just to upset the non-hunters.
