Default Wmu 354 Simmonette/ canfor/ forestry trunk road conditions ...

Just seeing if anyone's been down the these roads as of late . I have a bull moose draw for 354 , and when I went for a scouting trip in early October, the honey hole was a mud hole and spent two days getting unstuck ... Lol. Drank lots of beer though! Anyways just looking to set up the wall tent and do some quadding not expecting much , just want to get out . I hope the roads aren't as soupy as last month . If anyone has been down that way recently could tell me how the canfor road conditions are... She's a wet year all over Alberta . Kind of a downer .

Stick to the trunk road. You'll probably save time driving, you'll definitely save 2 hours washing your rig when you're done.

Finally hardening up some, some roads are decent gravel for the rest it is atv access, (in the afternoon)
Hate to say it but there is not a pile of moose down there on account of valleyview and sturgeon lk being so close. They get here hunted 365 and at night too. That said it is a big area. I would get behind some of the gates.
