those brits freedom how sick
there was a thread about sharia law in britain i am in vancouver and at the 7 11 i happened to see the daily telegraph and yes its true they are going to let sharia law trump whatever human rights they have for inheritance and other things. freedom is breaking out in other areas."more than 140 mps are backing a change that would mean thatpeople who do not pay the tv licence fee will no longer be prosecuted in a criminal court. ... more than 180 000 people are prosecuted each year... the bbc are rattled about the thought of not being able to hide behind criminalization to protect their income stream...'' also it will be decriminalized not to report american grey squirrels on private property these pushy squirrels are crowding out british red squirrels.

To the OP....do you actually know what a "television licence" is in Britain?...and by google searching it you are cheating.
I myself do know because I lived in Britain and with me being the single exception my entire family is British even my brother who has Canadian citizenship but was born in the UK.

go to the railway club/pub tonight, it's great they do sing along to old metal tunes and punk tunes and some tom jones for good measure, and it's got a great list of brews and a better ratio of women to men (if you're attached, leave the attachment at the hotel. great pub fare too.
nice place, it's above a rogue 7/11 @ 579 Dunsmuir a block off Granville. Great place.

i did google it sorry. a tv licence is a licence to watch tv 145 50 for coulor 45 pounds black and white. proceeds fund the bbc and classed as a tax , tax evasion is a crime

thanks but the funs been over for me for years now as a non drinker im not even bitter about it not much anyway.

actually you cant be arrested for watching tv without a licence every household must have a licence to operate a tv that shows live programming, that is programming broadcast or cabled to the house
