I am purchasing a wheelchair from through the States. It will be a significant amount cheaper than purchasing the same new chair in Canada.

I am wondering if there is a member that has an address in Montana that would be willing to accept the wheelchair, for me, via UPS or FedEx. I would make the drive to Montana to pick the wheelchair up. It would be no longer than 24 hours by the time the wheelchair is delivered to you and me picking it up from you.

Please think about it and let me know, you may have a friend in Montana willing to help me out? I appreciate any and all suggestions that this thread will create for me.

Thank you!!!

If you can not find a Montana member - I have done a great deal of business with the Montana Shipping Outlet.

I also have done business with them. They don't charge much and will hold an article for you for up to 6 months. They will advise you when your wheelchair arrives their place.

Default Montana

Have them ship it to At The Border Storage in Sweetgrass MT. They will hold it for you for 5$ until you pick it up. The address is 408 oak street Sweetgrass mt. 59484. Used then many times with no problems. Piker

I thank you for the suggestions of the shipping depot. I didn't mention in my original thread that the address can't be a shipping depot or business of any kind. It would need to be a residence address.

Is this due to the shipping company or something else? At the border storage has two addresses for different types of shipping if that's the case.

The wheelchair vendor has a Canadian site that I could purchase the wheelchair from. The cost would be nearly 60% higher compared to the States site. I'm avoiding the extra cost by making the drive to Montana to claim the wheelchair myself, I'm purchasing the wheelchair from the States site. My driving to Montana is much cheaper than a 60% price hike for the exact same wheelchair.
