I think I jinxed spring when I said I would schedule my tires being changed the week before March 21st. "Because even if it was going to snow, it wouldn't be that bad" I said. Well then, I suppose I stand corrected.

But I have kept occupied with tracking down new gear for the new season approaching, and the purchase of a new home, which will put 'packing' on my to do list for a few months.

Ha, what's with you guys? I was out on my quad on Saturday and I'm planning on going out today too. Still got a bit more firewood to get in for next winter and it's still frozen our there so I can get it. It's already warmed up from -22 to -18 and headed for -3 this afternoon ~ and sunny! Real men love it . It's gonna be a great day .

The question is: should I take a rifle or not?

I have a cure for that. Loaded the car, drove for 8 hrs and there was green grass. Waiting for the ferry yesterday and I got 2 phone calls, my son telling me he had to grade the driveway and a guy wanting me to go to work grading up by Grande Cache, I justed laughed. It is a nice day here in Campbell River. Walked along the pond, going for a drive up to Gold River later, I don't think I missing anything at home. If the weather stays like that up there I may stay here longer.

Hmmm, good point. Ya just made up my mind for me Now I just need to decide which one to take! I guess I'll take one that hasn't been out for a while. It could use the 'fresh' air

Time to pack my stuff and go. Have a great day everyone.

Yeah,it`s strange here.I`m a weather junkie,I plow snow for a living in the winter(not with the tractor). All the good storms seem to split and go around us here and dump on Sparwood/Fernie and over the rocks onto Calgary. We had some shots of - 25-30 and some snow but mostly it`s just a cool spring here.-4 at night and +8 or so during the day.Good for gentle snowmelt,no flooding expected this spring.

Just spotted my first Robin of the year. My daughter and I were pretty excited. Sping has got to be close.
