Default Alberta Lake lots

Hi All,
Can anyone comment on lake lots and the quality of some of the lakes like Long lake, Vincent, Skeleton? We are debating some options and just wonder if getting into a lake lot is a good idea for us. We have a "family" place at lac la nonne, but I was thinking of getting something of our own.

I can provide some in site on Vincent lake. My grandparents lived at the lake in horseshoe bay for the last 35 years before moving to town last year. My parents have owned a lot with a "summer" property there for the past 15 years and recently bought another lot and we rebuilt the cabin on it for the winter and are renting it out in all seasons.

Lake quality has deteriorated over the last 20 years (both water level and quality fishing).

Long drive from Calgary so don't get out as much as they'd like but view it as an investment and a nice place to enjoy once in a while.

Send me a pm if you have any other questions,

Cory

Bought a 1/2 acre lot on Floatingstone 4-5 years ago, no regrets. Lake has droped like most lakes in the area. Still some great fishing to be had in and around the area.
