Default Manatee had a front row seat to critique my casting

Very inquisitive Manatee.

I never pictured them being curious creatures.

This is a video showing the manatee hanging out.

This one just floated around our boat watching me catch tarpon.

Seeing this animal was on my bucket list.

Very cool video. Thanks for sharing. Your fishing for tarpon in an estuary?

I had one float around my sailboat last weekend, but did not have a camera ready and with the sailboat moving, would not have been as good a shot.

Nicely put.

I'm surprised both species, specifically tarpon, are that far upstream, especially in a tributary. It must be very brackish water.
