Default Anyone else headed to wainright for primitive weapons or first rifle?

I sent out the same request.... Pretty quiet group going there....

With saying that, a buddy got a random text on Fri saying sorry your room is no longer available from the Bison Motel.... What a **** a show

That would **** a guy off... We are at the Springs, it’s been the go to spot for us for 20+ years. Hunter friendly and you can have a good breakfast.

Question for the guys that have been to the base. Which entrance do you go to in the morning? I see one on the highway and one right by wainwright.

I bet a lot of deer hunters also showed up...LOL Once the flood gates open and people leave for the morning it is pretty good.

Light snow started around 4 and has been going for a bit so this should help. The old stuff was very spotty with many areas being grass - no snow.
