What do you call a Vancouver Canuck with a Stanley Cup ring?
A THIEF. Glad to see the sisters on the sidelines along with that clown BIEKSA.

Or having a team total goals-for over 11 games equal the scoring of just one Canuck player over same period. Shall I go on? The playoffs are SO much more exciting when your team is in them. A great series, some great plays and goals. No shame in losing to the Hawks. We were beat by a bigger and better team. I was extremely happy with my teams performance this year...how 'bout you?!

You are right, We had a **** year. No doubt about it. But to mention Kiprusoff in a negative light sorta makes you look like a joke. We had the 2nd lowest scoring team in the league and almost made the playoffs, We can thank kipper for that. Sure he had some bad games but when you are consistently bombarded with shots all year sometimes you fall off your game. If Vancouver had Kipper instead of Luongo you would be a legitimate contender. We may not have the scoring but our goalie comes up big most times, whereas if you had the scoring we had you would most likely be lower then Edmonton in the standings. Make fun of Calgary all you want, at least they decided not to show up during the regular season unlike your glorious canucks who waited till the beginning of game 6 to call it a day.

Luongo has the Gold Medal. Kipper folded against the Americans when Finland needed him most.

Ok? Luongo gonna ride that for his whole career? Kipper took us to the finals, Luongo took his team to two 2nd round exits. Ya Calgary has been knocked out 4 years in a row not overly kippers fault.

Game 6 of the second round.... something calgary has only seen once in 20 years.
And by the way, I don't think kipper has ever won a "big" game.

Luu got a gold medal because of his team, not by playin stellar He made one key save other then that he was average He's over paid n shouldn't be wearing the C.

Okay...take the team out of the equation, (your excuse why Kipper had so many losses) the most accurate stat for a goalie's personal performance is SV % (GAA isn't a true stat, as a poor defensive team will have a higher GAA, even for a better goalie)
SO....
Luongo: .913 sv % for 09/10
Kipper: .920 sv % for 09/10
Why is he better than Lu again??

Wow...now THERE's something to be proud of. Quite the compelling argument there, S.A.S. You were on the high school debate team weren't you?

Shots on goal and anything equated from that is not a great measure of a goalies "greatness". Do they steal a win when their team had no right to win is more telling. Do they rise to the occasion? etc
A shot from 50 feet out unscreened is easy to save, a shot from ten feet out thru a screen that is deflected is a whole lot harder save.

Does not matter what team is in front of the goalie. Point is, does the goalie make the big save when it is needed, Kipper clearly did not do that in the Olympics.

Maybe if lou would have had calgarys defence in front of him he would he have gone farther. The canuaks defence was just not tough enough for play off hockey.
If anyone needs to go its the sutters !!
