I think I beat brownbear416 to this thread!!!!!
Ok so lets get this started!! Same thing as lastyear 08/09 season all about HOCKEY!!!!

Brent can NOT be signed as the Flames coach as he is still under contract to the NJ Devils. They would have to release him and I cant see that happening. It's more likely the Dave Tippet may be your new coach....but more likely Darryl ends up coaching.

Dont be sorry, you beat BB to this thread plain and simple. The 08/09 season is done, who says it starts in Sept??? All the good trade's and free agency is way before then.

BB don't you mean Flames cup party in April as that is when you will be crying into your beer cup once again! 
Going to be an interesting year with some of the changes out there especially my Habs as they have totally revamped the team. For the better who knows.

I've been looking forward to this thread since the Stanley Cup was awarded and we put last year's thread to bed.

Any member is free to start any thread/post that falls within board rules young sir. If this thread amongst friends is so offensive to you, then I strongly urge you to make the effort to dig through the archives and find the one that pleases you the most. Those of us who actually know the game shall post here, and you can post all by yourself on the other thread. Keep in mind though, you'll be playing with yourself..................

I dont think I am king**** at all or feel the need to control anything on here..Nobody was posting on the other one,people were itching to talk hockey and I got lots of Pm's wanting to know when I would start it this year.Most people that post on this thread are sick of it after 8 months and like to take summer off and start fresh in the fall...
I have started it I think since AO went to the new forum and it is kinda tradition that most of us look forward to.
Sorry if this thread offended you or anyone else as it wasn't my intent at all.
Post on whatever thread makes you happy...........
