Bison hunting north of fort mcmurray

Has anyone from fort mcmurray had success hunting bison on the winter road to fort chip? Or anywhere else for that matter?

Hey Bud....there has been a bunch of these type threads if ya do a search in the hunting forum. It's a tough hunt for sure.....Donny Bear I believe did this hunt. I know a few guys come up through the NWT and hunt outside the park on the AB side but I'm not sure how the road is south of Ft. Smith coming north....probably better in a month or two though

Warm clothes....big dry warm tent.....snowmobiles and come-alongs will be your friends. Sorry I can't be much help.
