Default Southern open water?

Anyone happen to come across open water in your travels south of Calgary. Want to get the kayak out.

There are several lakes open in the Taber are. Oldman River is open as well.

lots of open water, and lots of closed lakes, and the OMR is closed down stream of the 509. Best check the regs first

no reason someone cant use a boat when the waterbody is closed for fishing. as long as they arent fishing. no?

I don't see why not. Just to be safe make sure you are not carrying any fishn equip on board.
