Default Kids bow, arrows porpoising

My 15 yr old sons bow is sighted in pretty well, 20 - 40 yds,
but I did notice his arrows tipping up early in their flight.
A quick check with a "T" square shows the perpindicular line off the bow string, to the lowest point of the rest and nock horizontal line is off by about 1/4 - 3/8".
We will lower the rest to correct this in the next day or so when the rain stops.
And then he can re sight in his 3 pins again.
Is this the right way to correct this porpoising motion ?

This is a start. Either lower rest or raise nocking point. Make sure to check that the arrow is still near the center of the berger holes. You might want to keep the arrow a tad nock high say 1/8". Paper tuning or walk back tuning will give you the best indication if you are where you need to be with the rest.
