Default Dolling up my 10/22

Hey Guys. I'm currently in the "Stan", and my post-tour present to myself was going to be a "Black" gun.

I intended on going with a non-restricted variant of the C8, but it is proving to be a challenge finding something that fits my wants and desires.

After doing some research, I think instead of the .223, what I am going to do is doll up one of my 10/22's. I'm thinking if I stick with .22LR, I might maintain my marriage by limiting the $$$ I send downrange. I've already installed heavy barrels, and I think I want to keep that in place, but I do still have the originals if I absolutely need them.

My question is, does anyone know of anyone in or around Edmonton who deals in tactical parts? Specifically for the Ruger? I'm looking at a purely plinking rig to terrify the local gopher population with. I'm thinking an ACOG style glass, and Picatinny rails for a laser. Why a laser??? Just because. It might also do double duty as my Zombie Apocalypse Defence Collection

P&D enterprises and MilArm come to mind for a project like that.

you might want to look into a ruger sr 22 they are all decked out and compatible with ar furniture for about 600 bucks, not bad when you consider that the stock is about 450 bucks on its own. I have been looking at these lately but fear the old ladies wrath if I come home with one

Hi, I haven't anything additional to offer on the 10/22 however I wanted to perform a short hijack and thank you for your service - stay safe - from a fellow Moronviller .
