Looked at kinbrook this morning the usual pressure ridge runs out to the west point of the island and the shoreline is all piled ice. Didn't check the thickness there. CT in Brooks has some electric mitts on for half Price 15 bucks. Tried them out without batteries and they are plenty warm as it is. Can't beat the price!

Ice was about 12" on Dec 14 in the sw corner. 3 ice shacks were on the ice and I saw at least 4 trucks driving on the ice. Way too early for me - we walked on.

Was out on Dec. 20th. I measured the ice in multiple holes at 17" in a shallow sw bay. Multiple trucks were driving on at this location. I cannot speak for other locations on the lake. Always take care.
